Went to D's house to plan for Paris trip & a catch up session. Her house is full of chocolates now from her Canada trip. Had to hide the Oh Henry's, Reese and Hershey's away because I will overeat and it is damn fattening. An awesome indulgence nevertheless :)
Will be in Paris from 4th July to 8th July!

{FOOD IN SINGAPORE} Cafe Salivation
Cafe Salivation is a vegetarian cafe which fuses Indian and Western cuisine. Met the Financials sector for a catch-up lunch as S was a vegetarian. With a cozy decor, it's a good chill-out place with your friends. We ordered lots of food and all of us were bloated by the end.
Started off with Nifty Nachos. Pretty good!
Mexican Enchilada Remo
Our mains portion were huge. I shared lasagna with S. Nothing much to complain about as well. Really grateful to the seniors for bothering to celebrate with a birthday cake and all. Though the waiter pretty much screwed up the 'surprise' by telling us that they cannot serve the cake on their plates since it is a vegan restaurant.

{FOOD IN SINGAPORE} AU CHOCOLAT & TWG
Au Chocolat at MBS for lunch after our last paper (Management Science). The food was decent with huge portions. The truffle fries were yummy ^^ Felt that the atmosphere was better at night though. The decor was super pretty at night!
We wanted to continue chatting but got bored of sitting at Au Chocolat. Headed to TWG where we had to ration tea. It cost SGD11 per pot, quite a toll on wallets of girls who don't work. Ordered macaroons as well :) The strawberry green tea tastes pretty unique. However, don't be deceived by the weight of the pot. There is only enough tea for 3.75 cups! The macaroons were not bad. Personally, I prefer TWG's over Canele's.

Maple Clinic Visit 2
Almost completed my 30 day course of antibiotics. I went back to find Dr Serene Ang. She commented that my skin condition has improved. Well, it hasn't been getting worse but there is definitely room for improvement.

Lose 2KG w/o Exercising (Overview)
I'm very busy with Life these days. So I will break this topic down into parts.
OVERVIEW
1. Ban all soda, fruit juices and sports drinks from your life. Only WATER is acceptable.
2. Download MyFitnessPal to help you keep check of your calories.
3. Carbohydrates wise, white rice and noodles are not acceptable. You get your carbohydrates from wholemeal bread, rolled oats/oatmeal and sweet potatoes.
4. Each meal should contain a fruit, a vegetable, proteins/nuts and wholegrains in equal proportions. I find it hard to follow this in the morning (go without the vegetables for breakfast)
5. Even if you exercise, fix your calorie count as if you don't. In this way, the results will be more visible.

How to Lose 2 KG WITHOUT Exercising
This is a self-reminder to blog about how I went about losing 2KG without exercising :D I went for my mandatory health checkup at Raffles Medical. Utterly shocked to know that I dropped from 48kg to 46kg. I had been wanting to get into my ideal 46kg ever since I gained those 2kg in my JC days.
I've read up pretty extensively on different weight loss methods out of boredom and have tried various methods to shed those 2kg before (nothing drastic). I'm not overweight and this makes it even harder to lose weight. Plus, I'm seriously not athletic at all and am lazy to exercise.
The breakthrough is definitely in June 2012. Thank goodness I 'shrank' 1cm to 161 during the checkup so that I'm seemingly 'healthier' by medical standards. But I'm still going to tell people I'm 162cm lol. P.S. I did not starve myself.
